Clean Ducts, Cleaner Air for Everyday Living

What Is Air Duct Cleaning?

Air duct cleaning is the process of removing contaminants from your home's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. This process is achieved by placing the system under negative suction. Agitation whips are then sent through the ductwork to loosen the buildup of dust and debris.

Professional air duct cleaning includes cleaning both supply and return duct lines along with key HVAC components. This helps improve indoor air quality, support system efficiency, and extend equipment life.

Dust and Debris Recirculate Through Your Home

Why Air Duct Cleaning Matters

Your air ducts are a hidden haven for contaminants. Over time, dust, dirt, pollen, pet dander, and other allergens build up within your ductwork. Every time your HVAC system turns on, these contaminants circulate throughout your home 5 to 7 times an hour, impacting your indoor air quality.

  • Reduce HVAC efficiency: Accumulated debris hinders airflow, forcing your system to work harder, leading to increased energy consumption.
  • Shorten HVAC lifespan: Strained systems break down more frequently due to added stress.
  • Exacerbate allergies and respiratory issues: Contaminants can trigger allergic reactions and worsen respiratory conditions.

Protect your family's health and extend the life of your HVAC system with regular air duct cleaning.

Dust: The Hidden Odor Culprit

Tired of lingering odors?

Even after deep cleaning carpets and repainting walls, persistent odors can linger in your home. The culprit might be hiding in plain sight: your ductwork.

Dust accumulates in your ductwork over time, trapping unpleasant odors like pet dander, cigarette smoke, and musty smells. These odors can recirculate throughout your home, affecting your indoor air quality and overall comfort.

Our solution? Professional duct cleaning. We thoroughly clean your HVAC system and treat it with an antimicrobial solution to eliminate odor-causing bacteria and mold. Enjoy a fresher, healthier home environment.

Candle Soot: A Hidden Threat to Your Indoor Air Quality

Candles, while creating ambiance, can also introduce harmful substances into your home. Soot, a byproduct of candle burning, is a fine black residue that can accumulate on surfaces, including your air ducts.

How Candle Soot Affects Your Home:

  • Indoor air quality: Soot particles can be inhaled, leading to respiratory issues.
  • HVAC system damage: Soot buildup can clog filters, reduce airflow, and strain your system.
  • Home appearance: Soot can discolor walls, ceilings, and furniture.

Protect your home and health with regular air duct cleaning and taking precautions when burning candles.

Visible Indicators to Watch For

Does Your Home Have Poor Indoor Air Quality?

These are some key indicators that you can visibly see to tell you if you have poor indoor air quality within your home:

  • Do your vent /register covers have dust build-up?
  • Is the ceiling or wall around the vent black?
  • Is there dust building up on your furniture or desk?
  • Are you dusting more frequently?
  • Have you not cleaned your air ducts in the last 3-5 years?

If vent/register covers look like the images below, it's time for air duct cleaning.

Our Service Workflow

Step-by-Step Residential Duct Cleaning Process

Step One

While air duct cleaning is a clean process, our techs will start with prep work. Cover necessary furniture, floor coverings and corner guards to protect your home through this process.

Step Two

An 8 inch diameter vacuum hose is ran from the truck to the main trunk lines at the A/C unit. This will allow us to place the system under negative suction.

Step Three

All supply and return vent covers will be removed and washed. This is a standard procedure for a proper duct cleaning.

Step Four

Forced air agitation whips are sent through all supply, return and main duct lines. This will safely loosen all dust and debris. The dust and debris will then be sucked back to the truck.

Step Five

The A/C system will be sanitized with Benefect Decon 30. This treatment kills any bacteria and organic growth.

At Completion, Technicians Will

  • Ensure the system is up and running properly.
  • Complete a final walkthrough to confirm no mess is left behind.
  • Confirm satisfaction and answer any additional questions.
  • Collect payment and signature upon completion.
